Built to last.
Treat it that way.
Every Offstar piece is made from heavyweight natural fabrics chosen for longevity. How you care for them determines how long they last. These aren’t complicated instructions – they’re the ones that actually work.
Wash Cold
30°C recommended. Cold water protects the fabric structure and prevents colour shift – especially important for garment-dyed pieces.
Do Not Tumble Dry
Heat breaks down cotton fibres over time and can cause shrinkage beyond the preshrunk allowance. Air dry instead.
Line Dry in Shade
Direct sunlight fades colour gradually. Drying in shade preserves the tone – particularly for the ecru and bone colourways.
Iron Low — Inside Out Only
Low heat only. Always turn inside out before ironing – direct contact on the outer surface at high heat can alter the finish.
Do Not Bleach
Bleach degrades cotton fibres and destroys the dyed finish permanently. No exceptions.
Do Not Dry Clean
The solvents used in dry cleaning are too harsh for the fabric composition. Cold machine wash is always the right approach.
A few things that actually extend the life of your garments
- Wash with similar colours and weights – heavy cotton with heavy cotton, not mixed with lightweight synthetics.
- Treat stains immediately and locally rather than washing the whole garment each time.
- If pilling occurs on the fleece pieces, a fabric shaver restores the surface – it’s normal wear, not damage.
